Winfried Buss will be the new CEO at LION Smart GmbH


Baar, 25 October 2021 – Ad Hoc: LION E-Mobility AG (“LION”), a listed Swiss holding company with strategic investments in the field of electrical energy storage and lithium-ion battery system technology, has appointed another CEO of the operating subsidiary LION Smart GmbH (“LION Smart”).

With immediate effect, Winfried Buss takes on the role of Managing Director of LION Smart thus strengthening the team in the current phase of growth.

Alessio Basteri, President of the LION Board of Directors said: “I am pleased to announce the appointment of Winfried Buss as our new Managing director at LION Smart GmbH. Winfried has had wide ranging global experience in the automotive industry and many years of management experience at a senior level. His connectivity in the auto industry will be very important for the next phase of our journey especially in client development. His manufacturing experience will also be very valuable as we explore our next steps.”
